Newberry College Jazz Big Band Concert To Be Held May 4

NEWBERRY, S.C. - The Newberry College Jazz Big Band, directed by Bill Long, will perform its final concert of the season Friday, May 4, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. This program will be held in West Memorial Recital Hall of the Alumni Music Center on the Newberry College campus. During the graduation concert, the band will recognize all the senior members of the ensemble and the graduating class as a whole. This particular concert also gives local jazz lovers a final opportunity to hear the band that recently thrilled audiences as they hosted the 55th Annual Newberry College Jazz Festival, with world-renowned saxophone virtuoso, Chris Vadala.
